The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center is located on the banks of the Yarra River, only a short walk from Melbourne's central business district, and a 20-minute drive to Melbourne Airport connects MCEC to the rest of Australia and the world. The MCEC was the first convention centre to have been awarded a 6 Star Green Rating. Everything from the extensive use of natural light to the recycled water system has been implemented with one thing in mind – the environment.
